I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, before completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. Prior to starting medical school, I served as a Captain in the US Army as an attack helicopter pilot over multiple deployments to Afghanistan. Next, I earned my medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, where I conducted bladder cancer research as an AUA Summer Medical Student Fellow. I am currently a member of Gold Humanism Honor Society and the American Urological Association. In my spare time, I enjoy private aviation, running, and outdoor pursuits.
